Incompetence on another level. After being told everything was ready for our arrival, we arrived after a 300 mile drive and found the place up a dirty back alley and couldn't get in. Cue an hour on the phone being told we hadn't filled in the right forms (which we hadn't been sent) or submitted photo id (which we hadn't being asked for), or given a security deposit (again wasn't asked for). We eventually got it sorted and got in. Nice looking apartment but the sofa was to uncomfortable to sit on, the view was overflowing bins in an alleyway. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 because the bed was too uncomfortable to sleep in, so bad I could hardly walk the next morning. Oh and we were lead to believe there was parking. This turned out to be a pay & display car park half a mile away. I won't mention the dirty shower, obviously they're not fully aware of pandemic cleaning rules.

AVOID!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! We booked a 4 day break with Opulent living in August and paid 1400 only a month later the same apartment and better two bedroom apartments were being advertised for only 500 (these are apartments are worth no more than 500 if that!). We queried the difference with Opulent then Booking.com who advised Opulent would need to give us the price match difference - they refused. Opulent's customer service has been disgusting and they are clearly exploiting people through the pandemic! After multiple calls and emails (during our break) they finally offered us a 20% refund however, we never received this! THE APARTMENT - We arrived at the apartment and obviously wanted to make the most of our break (and first holiday in over 3 years) to be met with a dirty back street, overflowing bins and two very noisy pubs. There is no parking anywhere near this apartment and that is not clear on the website - we had to reverse out of a tiny back alley after dropping our bags and running them up 6 flights of stairs (again not advised when booking) to drive around and find a public car park. When we finally got back to the apartment we were exhausted after the eventful arrival and long drive. We sat down on the sofa to find it was extremely hard so much so we had to go to bed as we could no longer sit on it...THE BED...we did not get one night's sleep on our break due to the fact the bed was so uncomfortable and the pub noise kept us up at night and in the morning when they were taking in deliveries...resulting in us leaving a day early as we could no longer stand not having any sleep! As you can see there is nothing luxury about these apartments and it is being falsely advertised! When we called on the second day to advise of the above we were met with uncooperative and rude advisors who were not interested at all as they had already taken our money! We are still waiting for our refund Opulent Living! All I can say to anyone looking at these apartments is ...PLEASE PLEASE do not waste your money!!
