Food was nothing special, I have had better at other Prezzos Food took forever to arrive and it took two asks for the staff to tell us the kitchen had it readyafter 40minutes when all they were making was pasta and a pizza. (when the restaurant was practically empty) Drinks were over priced and the cocktails were completely un-flavoursome. If all that went well it would have been a lovely experience but it didnt so I would avoid going to the one in torkquay. Real shame!

Took the kids to lunch here today. Bit of a treat before our holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had no complaints in that regard. One son ordered the truffle burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The other son had the lobster and crab pasta parcels, and other than the amount, he enjoyed it. My daughter and I, on the other hand, ordered the oak smoked penne pasta. The menu boasts "Oak-Smoked Salmon Penne Flaked oak-smoked salmon cooked in a creamy chilli, tomato and basil sauce served with penne and tenderstem broccoli". What we actually got was pasta in a fairly average sauce, with tinned salmon Really?? Tinned salmon?? If I wanted tinned salmon and pasta, I could have saved myself the bother, and the cash, and made it at home! It's a shame because we have previously enjoyed the place but this just isn't good enough

Greeted promptly at the door as we hadnt booked and just walked in we were able to get a table. The building and setting is impressive. Used to be an old bank I believe. Great meal had by the 3 of us. We had garlic bread with cheese to start (sharing one) and it was enough for the 3 of us to share. I had the chicken Alfredo tagliatelle although I requested it without peppers the sundried tomatoes were very sparse. I only counted 3 in the dish and it would have benefited from more. The portion was also massive, especially for a bowl of pasta. I know a lot enjoy a large portion but this could have been reduced by a third in terms of the amount of pasta as I don't eat massive amounts. Chicken and roasted peppers pizza and lasagne were also ordered both of which were said to be very good and both plates were finished. Drinks were as you would expect, overpriced but what can you do? The strawberry lemonade was really tasty though! I also finished the meal with a cup of tea which was exactly as expected. The staff were welcoming and accommodating the whole time we were there. We had tesco vouchers which softened the bill a little. Overall a standard chain italian restaurant experience which could have been a little better if you consider the price.
