Paignton Post Office

Normally a great p.o However after telling people that will be closing at 12.30 on a Saturday and arriving at 12.28 to find the doors locked the service is poor at best!!

On 3rd attempt to get my passport renewed I gave up... Not enough staff and told to ring back to make an appointment... But they don't answer the phone... Went to Torquay whsmith post office what a difference... Done and dusted in 10 mins 5 star to Torquay... Paignton hire some more staff please

Why does this post office not stick to normal opening hours? SInce covid lockdowns it seems management just do whatever they want! Got there Friday to find they had closed early!! Got here Tuesday and they are opening late!!! Extremely annoying and frustrating trying to work to tight deadlines and pay for parking while management change the signs to suit themselves.

Using the passport service today I observed staff under so much pressure but there remained so calm and professional. I cant believe how well they dealt with everything and were just so lovely .. Amazing service especially to Carol who went over and above to ensure my autistic son did not get too overwhelmed ..
