We had to find another hotel the same night due to the room not being ready, it was dirty and had a robot (!) vacuumcleaner still on the floor.
So the reception asked us to find another hotel because they did not have other room available. They said everything was written down in their datasystem and that we should call a phonenumber in order to get the refund.
The customer service on the phone could not help us and asked us to use online contact form, as they did NOT have any email (!)
Now the customer service tells us by mail this:
I would like to inform you that upon investigating this matter with the hotel they have passed on some feedback that the hotel room was clean to our hotel standard, therefore we are unable to process a refund or a credit note for you.
Judge by the pictures yourself if this is the standard you find acceptable. Sheets on the beds were dirty with black stains and remains of medications on the floor.
I find this a matter of unlucky circumstances, we know the staff is hard working and something might have happened. What we DONT find acceptable is that WE have to phone and write several times in order to get the refund we rightful should have had without even asking for it.
We have now sent the pictures to the customer support and are waiting for the refund.
EDIT: April 2023, still waiting for our refund, getting refused every time.
