Quite disappointed with our visit to be honest. Our room for 2 nights was 300. The location was perfect and the staff were friendly, but our room's fridge wasn't working, we were told someone would come check it on our second day but nobody did. The air conditioning doesn't go below 18 and the windows don't open. It gets very stuffy with a constant room temperature of 19 definitely not somewhere i'd want to stay in the middle of summer. The food was lovely, breakfast was very well set up, I liked the idea of frying your own egg with a double waffle maker! That was brilliant, that way the eggs didn't get a skin sitting under a hot plate. But overall 300 for that room was a waste of money.

Had another wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn, Torquay. Located across the street from the marina and within a very short walk to local shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some have stunning views out over the harbour. Free full breakfast buffet on offer with a wide variety of hot/cold items to choose from. Great staff too, they were always friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times since they opened and will certainly return in the future.
