Rooms: Room really nice. Bed was very comfortable, had a good night sleep Food & drinks: Breakfast was superb, tea and coffee facilities were very good.

We have just returned after a two night stay at the Crowndale and can honestly say it is the most friendly, welcoming and comfortable hotel we have ever stayed in. Pat & John made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Due to a last minute cancellation we were upgraded to the super king en-suite room at no extra cost. The room consisted of the biggest, comfiest bed ever, unlimited tea and coffee, complimentary cup cakes and biscuits and a spacious wet room. The room was lovely and warm, spotlessly clean and of a very high standard throughout. Our full English breakfast and bowl of fresh fruit were exceptional and there were also cereals, yogurts, pastries and cereal bars amongst other options available on request. Both pat and John took time to share with us their knowledge of the area and places to visit to enable us to get the most out of our stay. They are the most welcoming, thoughtful , kind people who made our weekend the best ever and we will definitely be returning when possible and would highly recommend to everyone. The attention to detail was outstanding and highlighted by the birthday card and gift organised for me from Pat and John for my upcoming 60th birthday, which was a fantastic and gratefully received gesture. The Crowndale Hotel was absolutely stunning, the whole stay was amazing. John and Pat were very welcoming from the start, even as we arrived early it was no trouble, they showed us our room and gave us our key. They are both the perfect host, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were beautiful, clean and tidy, all amenities within the room were perfect. The special little touch of cakes were delicious. They upgraded our room to suit our stay, just perfect.

Amazing hosts who make you feel like friends not a hotel guests. Room we had was amazing king size bed beautiful decorated with 3 chairs, table. Drinks trolley. Fridge and walk in wet room. Great breakfast and hospitality and knowledge of area. Great Court yard garden and small walk for pubs and restaurants.
