Rooms: Our room was delightful. Attractive, full of light and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Food & drinks: Our breakfast was wonderful, hot and delicious, using local produce. In the room we had homemade shortbread and cookies which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Noteworthy details: Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and seemed very knowledgeable about the area.

Rooms: Each room is special in its own right - individually styled and very classy. (the owners kindly showed us a few before we left) All have superb private ensuite facilities. Large rooms with high ceilings Walkability: Easy 15 mins stroll to the main areas of Torquay - perfect spot, quiet residential area. Food & drinks: Fantastic home cooked to order breakfast with LOTS of choice, fresh fruit, and home made jams. Noteworthy details: Free car park with space for each room.

Carlton Court is the perfect getaway B&B in Torquay. With its closeness to local amenities, it really is the place to be. Lynn and Paul were the perfect hosts, greeting you on arrival, knowledgable of the sights of Torquay and generally all round lovely people. Our room was impeccably clean, with robes, slippers and homemade delicious biscuits. We had a fridge with fresh milk and water. The bed was super comfy, wish I could of taken it home!! And even a room refresh on a 2 night stay. Morning breakfast was made to order and delicious. Fresh orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee. Fresh fruit, cereals and cooked breakfast, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The weather wasnt the greatest, however still got out and about to all the recommended places the hosts told us about. Would highly recommend to everyone. Its prices are reasonable for the luxury of this stay. Even a goodbye bag for our journey home, a really lovely touch for all the guests who stay here. Thank you Lynn and Paul for making our stay one of the best. Walkability: Pubs, restaurants, takeaways, beach and local amenities all in walking distance.
