The Palace Hotel in Paignton is beautifully located but that would be it when it comes to its advantages. The rooms are old, windows do not close / or open - you have to call for maintenance every single time. Breakfast menu is very limited, no fresh veggies are available. And all of this for a crazy price - double versus Mercure nextdoors.
