OYO The Sherwood Palm Hotel

Do not book here as hotel is very much closed!!! We were booked in for this weekend just gone arrived to find it all closed up and looking very run down, curtains hanging down from windows sofas in the garden thank goodness for a smaller hotel allowing us a room at such late notice otherwise our weekend away would have been completely ruined! Not sure well even get our money back

DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE, the hotel is run by a company called OYO, the hotel is closed but the company remains on various booking websites, they'll happily take your money and leave you stranded outside the front door, customer service is awful and automated, we found a side door unlocked at the bar area and a phone number was on the wall, someone over the road from the Inglewood hotel which is also ran by OYO said it was closed, this Inglewood hotel is also outrageously bad and is shut, double check your booking to make sure the hotel isn't ran by OYO

This place was filthy, clearly not had a deep clean in the last year. Our bed was also broken but didn't realise until we went to bed at 2am, no staff anywhere to be seen despite it being advertised as a 24hour reception. So didn't get any sleep. Had to hover over the toilet as didn't want to sit on it. Thankfully only stayed one night so didn't have to use the mouldy shower

First things first! That place doesn't have any phone signal, internet connection. Second thing, is it molt on the beds, as you can see in the picture. The door is not closing properly and you can see the light from the coridor! The towels were dirty. We wait for like, half on hour, to let us in, because they didn't receive our reservation from OYO or maybe they didn't know how use a computer! The worst hotel I've ever been!

I've just stayed there, I have just looked at the OYO feedback - so cut and paste!!! OYO does not care at all just as long as OYO gets money. My room was dirty too, the bathroom smelt of urine, the taps do not work, and the noise I had to put up with because they lack a night porter to monitor the noise levels is bad. The people above me decided to have an all night party and they continued when I left. I left at 7:30am I couldn't bear it anymore. Avoid this place it is unfit, lack of staff. It's a little suspect when they shut off Living space areas and STILL blame COVID. The place needs shutting down. The health inspector needs to check this place out.
