Sefton Lodge

Im just back from a 3 night stay at the Sefton Lodge. What a lovely surprise! Great location near the beach, town, shopping, bus and train. Generous English breakfast included as well as tea and coffee in the room. My room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Many thanks to our friendly and welcoming host Steve and his wife for making this stop on my trip from Canada so pleasant.

I have never stayed in a hotel like it the man was very abrupt I dont even know his name breakfast half 8 I was told no hairdryer no iron board when we asked it was like the world ended no fan we had to get our own was there four days left at the third day no clean towels all week sink water was cold I never went to breakfast once my partner did and he sat at a table and mr grumpy said not that table that table over there he wasnt asked if he would like everything he dosent eat bacon I just had Enuff Best thing was the balcony and it was a comfy bed would never go back oh they had binoculars on the wardrobe lol spent my last night next door thought I was in heaven

Appendix to review just done want to add very expensive for what we had!.My previous review didn't get posted.I emailed to request vegan breakfast got reply all ok but there was no soya milk or non dairy spread, my breakfast consisted of dry museli a cup of hot water & toast & marmalade only orange juice available no fruit & not that I eat it but yogurtswould have been nice.Also no choice of breakfast time it was 8.30!Also couldn't reserve car parking space & had to carry cases etc around from back of B&B to front (no entry at back)We stay in q lot of B&Bs and hotels around the country & will not be going back there or to Paignton very disappointed with both
