Jo and Martin give a very professional service in every aspect at their guest house. Topping that with their friendly demeanor, gives them a top rating. As someone who travels quite a lot for work, I've stayed in my fair share of B and Bs. Cherwood was hands down the nicest place I've ever stayed. The owners are incredibly friendly, always on call and made sure that we had all the information we needed. The house itself is beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable, but what really made it special was the little touches. The bathroom had not only the usual complimentary toiletries, but also had robes and even cotton pads. Water was provided in reusable bottles and you could help yourself to additional tea, coffee etc. The hallways were lined with books, games and dvds, and there was even a sweet basket! Honestly couldn't fault a single thing, would definitely stay again and will recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Wow. What a stunning place. Absolutely gorgeous and the service was wonderful, very personal and friendly. The best guest house we have ever stayed in. Both Jo and Martin where lovely and the place is immaculate. The breakfast was very tasty and well cooked ! Well done Martin it was everything we thought it would be. This was our second visit to Jo & Martins guesthouse to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Again we had a lovely welcome and catch up with the year just passed. Jo & Martin always have time for you which makes it very special. The day always starts with Martins lovely breakfast and Jos great front of house welcome. We where presented with a bottle of bubbly and a lovely vase of flowers on our table, with a card left in our room. I would recommend anyone who wants a friendly and welcoming place to stay in Paignton to look up Cherwood Guesthouse. Thanks again for making our anniversary a special weekend.
