I wish Id looked at these reviews before agreeing to my new windows from Anglian! Windows, fitted beautifully, excellent speed & considerate fitters However, patio doors were fitted by a different team and this is where my literal nightmare began! Bodge it & scarper learnt from this team! I wish I could leave pics on here.(JUST LEFT SOME ON PICTURES, LATEST) About 8-10 visits (as I refused to pay until sorted) , even still the quality of finish to my walls,, plaster work and sealant around the doors is appalling.! I havent even mentioned anything about my belongings going missing! Apparently, Anglian carried out an investigation into the disappearance of my AirPods (one of several items missing) & concluded it was not their workman who took them.. (Im long term shielding & NOBODY else has been in my home). On CCTV, workman is seen using my WI-FI (password is hidden) & i complained of a breach (Ive had to let my employer know as work from home) I was told I gave them the password Why would I be concerned if that was the case!?!? Had I just had my windows from Anglian they would have had a 5* review.. due to having to inform the police of my home being burglarised .. and the total mess with the French doors.. yup, anything less than zero * is too much! I hope head office doesnt even reply to this but just hang their heads in shame! I would never contact again! If anything goes wrong which should be under warranty I would pay someone else to sort! Please feel free to look at all other reviews I have left in the past for other companies.. all 5*, never thought Id leave a review like this in a public forum!

I have had my Windows for 4 years, 10 year guarantee, the upstairs bedroom window handle failed. No contact other than on line allowed. I was sent a new handle to fit myself. Looking at what was sent the wrong handle was fitted in the first place. I can't fit it myself. If I was a window fitter I would have done the whole job! As it stands, should we have a fire, there is no way we would get out safely. Shocking customer service!

I wanted a rough estimate for the cost of a new back door but they insisted on setting up a meeting with a salesperson who eventually gave me an estimate. It was more than I wanted to spend and so told them I wasn't interested. They have not left me alone since. I have had multiple emails, phone calls and text messages from their sales team wanting to discuss the quote from nearly 6 months ago. I asked them not to contact me and to delete my details but they still phone and text. DO NOT BOTHER CONTACTING THEM. They will hound you until the ends of the Earth.

My family wanted our lounge and dining room windows done with georgian bars, so we contacted Anglian in January. The good reputation touted by the company themselves seemed to indicate a professional service, their customer service in particular being touted on their website. A few weeks later, we then found that said bars would come straight off the window - they hadn't even been glued on, at all. One bar simply fell off one day without us having even touched the bar or used the window once. We understood that sometimes, mistakes happen, that's just part of being human - so we contacted Anglian about getting a second consultation, a chance to fix their mistake and still retain a good experience with the company. After several months of silence from both the installers and the complaints department, we found ourselves regretting the decision to go with Anglian for a number of reasons, listed below: Massively expensive inital charges far beyond the worth of the product in question, according to surveyors from an outside company that we contacted. Being *lied to* by both the installers and the company's complaints department about whether they would bother to come around and fix an incorrectly installed window set. Said complaints department will not contact you again or try to resolve the issue if you try to register a complaint, even blocking some customers who try to register complaints from their social media pages). Being ripped off with an end product that violates UK Trading Standard Laws, and dealing with a company that didn't put any agreement made with us (as well as a few other customers) on paper - only verbal agreements, non-legally binding and not traceable. Anglian Home Improvements trade on a reputable company, priding themselves on their customer service. Our experience, as well as the experiences of other customers we contacted about Anglian's lack of communication and incorrectly installed window panels, proved that to not be the case. I advise people to seek their installations from another company; one that doesn't lie to their customers, block those who try to complain on social media, and fail to even abide by UK Trading Standards.
