Southover Medical Practice

This is my experience and I leave it to you to judge it. They only give you 10 minutes for your appointment. They let you in later than it has been planned and as soon as you start talking GP says she cannot deal with more than one issue today or she do not have time more than 5 minutes. The first time this happened to me I ignored it. As I taught every one can have a bad day. This is the second time this is happening to me. It is obvious this is this surgery culture. Every time I need to see this surgery I get stressed. The doctor told me I need to take care of myself and my mrntal health. You need to ask for more time when you call the reception. But the reception always says it is not possible or they cannot hear you clearly and they are in rush. I left the surgery while I was crying and I was in pain. I am still in pain. Sitting in A&E after calling 111.

I can only offer 2 stars due to the past year or so. When I had a doctor who I saw regularly, I had no problems. But now that he has retired, I am seen by anybody, on the off chance that a doctor is available. Today I asked a doctor for a sick note, but was denied it, and I have no idea why. The doctor who I had never met or knew that he was practicing there. Also of late, my repeat prescriptions do not go through the system correctly, so not receiving my medicines or other items that I did not order. I have now today gone and registered at another practice. They have gone to the dogs.
