"SHAWS of TORQUAY".. "CLOSING DOWN SALE".. "DECEMBER 2022".. After a "CLOSING DOWN HALF PRICE SALE" the store was emptied of stock in a couple of days.. All of the 28 stores of Shaws the Draper were told to sell all of their stock by Christmas 2022.. Directors of the company have stated that 'difficult trading conditions exist', that no new stock will be purchased until the company is reorganised.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A delight of colourful merchandise not found any where else in Torquay. Curtains, Duvets, Towels, Small Carpet Mats, Pillows, Pillow Cases, Bed Sheets.. A fine selection of Wool + Cotton for the keen knitters, said to be a relaxing past time.. "SHAWS of TORQUAY"..

Really helpful staff, I'm new to knitting (few months now) and I've gone a bit hat mad. I've had a fair few newbie questions that the staff have always been able to help with / point me in the right direction & recommend products that have been great. A really helpful member of staff called Jonathan explained how the dye lots work and how they can find a match when you go back needing more. Would recommend!
