Sonachan House

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Leanne and Aaron are fantastic hosts and incredibly accommodating. From buckets and spades for the kids to a spare towel for use on the beach - super handy when our visit was so impromptu. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. With our children in tow we even had the best nights sleep in months! There was a lovely continental breakfast that suited all the different tastes of our family too. The scrumptious choc chip banana bread deserves a special mention. A must stay, in a great location with off road parking (!), and fantastic hosts. We can't wait for the opportunity to return again.

Great location and lovely hosts - we had the pleasure of being one of Aaron and Leanne's first guests after they had taken over and we were far from disappointed - they are wonderful, genuinely nice and friendly people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 5 (3 kids ranging from 6-16) and the kids had a blast! The breakfast was spot on with choices to cater to us all. With regards to location being a short walk between Paignton and goodrington sands, we all preferred the beach at goodrington sands which seemed alot more pleasant and very close to the hotel with plenty of buckets and spades to borrow. Plenty to do at Paignton pier as well - We will certainly return.
