The Hillcroft is a beautiful place to stay. Elaine and Martyn the owners are such a lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are very friendly and welcoming and as soon as you arrive you are offered a hot drink of your choice. Our room was called the Bali and it was beautiful and relaxing with decor that reflects Bali culture. The breakfasts are very filling and you have a good choice of several dishes. Amazing stay & will be returning ASAP. Thank you Elaine & Martyn for our lovely perfect weekend.

What and enjoyable and interesting place. It's an experience visiting the Hillcroft, it is adorned with all sorts of interesting objects and design. Martyn & Elaine are lovely and really helpful. My stay was peaceful and pleasant, with all I needed. There are many rooms available to choose from, each their own adventure. I stayed in Bali, it was bright & beautiful, clean, well equipped, a powerful shower and with a very comfortable double bed. Every morning without fail the breakfast and coffee were prepared in good time, consistently, with care and were really tasty. Set me up for the day ahead. There is much to choose from here also, starting from cereal to fruit salad and hot freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of options. I ate the vegetarian breakfast, which was excellent, the sweetcorn fritters are delicious! It was a lovely surprise when I arrived to be offered coffee and cake, homemade by Elaine who is no doubt an extremely able cook. That too was tasty. It was a wonderful experience, I will visit again. Thank you Martyn & Elaine.

I haven't stayed here myself but I have delivered fish and chips a couple of times. The owners seem fantastic and quirky, always have a laugh with them. With hosts like these I imagine a stay here would be top notch. Update, the owners gave me a mini tour and the inside is delightful, finished to a high standard with different themed rooms, beautiful and stunning. Can highly recommend a stay here.
