Abbeyfield Hotel

Myself and my Husband have just come back from a lovely visit to Torquay. We stayed at Abbeyfield B&B and we were really pleased, it was very nice. Anita was so welcoming & friendly! Our room was immaculate and all through the B&B was pleasantly clean. We enjoyed a full English breakfast every morning too... very tasty! We are already looking forward to visiting again!

It was spotlessly clean, the bed linen pure white and very large fluffy white towels. We spent 4 nights here and loved it. The en-suite shower room was large with walk-in shower. The toiletries were of a very high standard and refilled regularly. There was a small fridge in the room which had bottles of water. There were teamaking facilities with a selection of tea bags, coffee bags, hot chocolate and also nibbles. As I am vegan Anita went out of her way to find something for me which was a Frys chocolate cream. These were refilled every day. There was also a small bowl of fruit in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of continental or cooked or both. The bread was superb and was home made. This is an excellent hotel and the special touches make it exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely stay here again. Anita is a lovely person, very friendly and goes out of her way to make her guests welcome and comfortable.
