AD Architecture

After buying our bungalow some years ago, my wife and I found our 2-bedroom bungalow was not big enough for our needs. We could have moved but the bungalow was in a wonderful position in Brixham, on the high side in Cow Town, with sea views and fields on 2 sides. So, we decided to extend, and the best way was upwards. We selected AD Architecture (ADA) after a local search / review. We obtained feedback on them on a local large project they were undertaking. All feedback was incredibly positive. After an initial meeting with ADA, we had confidence that they understood our detailed requirements and where professionally / technically knowledgeable enough, to be selected as our Architect, for our project. ADA produced plans, which far exceeded our expectations. Our project involved taking off the entire roof, raising it and rebuilding. This was a major project. We reviewed the plans and after fine-tuning, ADA submitted them to the Council Planning Office for approval. The Planning Office required some changes regarding the Street View. ADA produced amendments which where re submitted and duly passed. This process also included the provision of Structural Engineering Detail and ADA dealt with the Structural Engineer to produce the detail required by the Council Planning Office. Due to the Planning Office workload and Planning Officer changes, this process took some time, but ADA dealt with this diligently, to completion. The resulting approved plans, doubled the size of the bungalow, now a house, with 3 addition double bedrooms, bathroom, en-suite, large landing, etc. During the construction, the builder needed clarification / information and ADA provided this and developed a sound working relationship with the builder. This is essential with any project, but even more essential with major projects, such as ours. My wife and I are delighted with the finished build. It started with our requirements but was brought to life by the vision of ADA. Please note, that this project started before CV19 arrived in UK and continued through the lock-downs / CV19 restrictions. ADA dealt with all issues seamlessly. ADA are competent, professional, reliable, friendly and easy to deal with. They use modern digital techniques making the flow of information quick and easy. My wife and I fully recommend ADA.
