Maybe he is just bored with the job.
I cannot comment on the quality of his designs as we didn't get to that stage, we learnt early of his difficulty with communication which was a good thing.
Totnes has plenty of good architects and it has not been difficult finding a replacement.
Cannot recommend E J W I'm afraid.

With his knowledge of the planning process we have now obtained planning permission for a second, more ambitious project. I am over the moon that we have got permission for our full vision and I put this down, in a large part, do David's input and considered approach. Thoroughly recommend EJW.
