I have suffered with constant pain in my lower back for almost two years. After consulting a physiotherapist, then a chiropractor and then also a few sessions of deep tissue massage, the pain was temporarily eased but soon returned. I visited Kim for acupuncture and immediately the pain was relieved. I have booked a second appointment and will definitely keep returning for any other treatment I may need. Kim is friendly, chatty, professional and I felt very confident and comfortable from the moment I arrived, during the treatment and after I had left. I knew that I had made the right decision for the right treatment by the right person from the moment I met Kim. We do not have to live with pain and discomfort when there are people like Kim available to assist with ailments. Thank you Kim, I'm incredibly grateful for your help

Kim Maidment at The Acupuncture Clinic was recommended to me by a professional physiotherapist due to the acute joint pain and very debilitiating exhaustion following a medical diagnosis of Genetic Haemochromatosis - a serious and life threatening illness in July 2017. At the time of my first visit to Kim in October 2017 my Ferritin (Iron) levels were 980 and poisoning my body (a healthy normal range is 30 - 70) and I was borderline anaemic with a haemoglobin level of 13 (normal range is 17 -22) which was affecting the potential for any medical treatment. In conjunction with the medical treatment I was receiving at Torbay Hospital, I went to see Kim once a month for complementary acupuncture to help my medical recovery. Over the last 9 months my recovery has been staggering and the medical staff at Torbay Hospital are amazed at my improvement. At my last test in June 2018, my Ferritin level had dropped to 33 (!) and my Hb had increased to 16 (!). My joint pain has been significantly reduced and my overall well-being and health returned very much to normal. I am in no doubt that the professional, skilled knowledge and expertise that Kim applied assisted significantly in aiding my recovery and very much complemented the first class medical treatment I also received at Torbay Hospital. Thankfully my GH is now under control and I only require quarterly medical treatment. However, I still maintain my monthly appointment at The Acupuncture Clinic as I believe that the on-going expert treatment I receive from Kim Maidment continues to make a very positive contribution to keeping me healthy. Sincere thanks Kim. Hopefully my comments and experience will help others looking for the best professional and expert acupuncture help. Totally recommended.

I've had two accupuncture appointments so far with Kim to improve my eczema. He's absolutely brilliant and very welcoming, I can't wait for my next treatment and to start seeing improvements. Would highly recommend!
