Lovely little (seats 60 tops, without social distancing) Norman church, with Norman arches, which you dont see often. We bumped into the minister and he was welcoming

Padworth has a perfect example of a little Norman parish church and is one of the smallest in the county. It was entirely built in 1130. Only the windows and the roof of the nave have been replaced, in Tudor times. The porch was added in 1890. It has a weekly Sunday service (alternating 9 am Eucharist and 6.30pm Evensong with Mortimer West End) and a Thursday morning Eucharist on alternate weeks.
