Upon arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly as was Mr McRea and his nurse. Mr McRea explained the options and made his recommendation. The repair was pain free (without anaesthetic).and I was eating breakfast 30 mins later.
I was extremely impressed with the team and would have no hesitation were I ever to need a dentist again in Padstow.

The hope she could receive some professional treatment. Unfortunately that was not the case. The Dentist Mr Macrae was in our opinion was most dissapointing in providing adequate treatment. Maybe because we were not regular patients and his private cosultation fee was more important than adequate diagnosis and treatment. He did an xray and applied some form of paste on the gum line. Over the weekend her pain intensified and she went back to Mr Mactae on Monday 5th August. He again applied more paste to her gum line without any exploratory investigation. He suggested that he could do a filling for possible cracked tooth which my wife declined. As she had already had an xray wich did not reveal any problems with her teeth. Was that another fee earner?.we returned home on Tuesday 6th and managed to obtain a NHS appointment with our regular dental surgery. Our Dentist discovered an infected nerve wiched was removed. The difference between the two dentist was that our regular NHS dentist undertook extensive explority work to diagnose the problem where Mr Mactae in Padstow did not. We have a holiday home in Cornwall but will not use this padstow dental practice again. I would suggest anyone needing dental care should look elsewhere for treatment .
