Extremely disappointed as well as unprofessional, bordering on rude customer service. I had booked a stay at Padstow Creek with my partner during July of this year and on confirming our check in time the week before our stay we were told that they had no record of our booking and asked if we could clarify who we had made the booking through. After informing the owner (Tim) we had in fact been liaising with him to book our stay (and provided the email thread to prove this) we were told that for some reason they did not have this confirmed and that nothing could be done, as the log cabin was booked with another customer (one assumes this was after we had booked this and had been given these dates in July by Tim himself for our stay). After voicing our disappointment at this (we had taken annual leave, booked further hotels and restaurants to coincide with our stay) we received an email with the first line stating lets not get into a blame game. The lack of empathy shown due to an error by Padstow Creek was extremely disappointing and has ultimately left us with not only losing financially (We did receive a refund from Padstow Creek but our other financial commitments will ultimately mean we are financially out of pocket) but also given us a week to now find somewhere else to stay to avoid further disappointment, which in the current circumstances is proving near impossible. Our final email from Tim at Padstow Creek ended with the tagline we pride ourselves on customer service which could not be further from the truth.
