        Been to Padstow before so will get this out the way first, its an expensive town. But because of this you have higher expectations. Starting with the positives, the staff and welcome were really nice, very friendly. The room and bed were ok, just good enough Id say. The food however was very so so. Im not one for big portions but 22 for a small plate of Mussels and a bit of bread? We had to order a bowl of fries extra which was also small. My wife had the fish cake but it was more like a potato cake with a table spoon of salmon and no side such as fries. Bit disappointing as we left still a bit hungry and its things like this that let a place down.
