Matthew and Louise photographed our wedding in September 2020 and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Their passion for photography, professionalism and kindness is outstanding and we are thrilled with the photographs received and our wedding album, which is of such high quality. We stuck with our original date and decided to get married during the pandemic. Whilst stressful, Matthew ensured continued communication with us up to our day, taking the time to visit our church and reception venue, where we were able to meet and discuss the finer logistics of social distancing etc. On the day, despite timings overrunning, Matthew and Louise kept calm, and kept us calm (!), ensuring beautiful, natural photos were captured. We didn't want out wedding album to remind us of the pandemic and this has certainly been achieved. The group photos, whilst of course spaced out, don't look 'strange' but actually allow us to see our guests more clearly! We are so pleased we went ahead with our original date and very happy that we chose Matthew Paul Photography to capture our special day - thank you both so much!

Could not recommend Matthew Paul photography enough, Matthew was professional and really helpful all the way through and went above and beyond with Louise to give us the best wedding album. Amazing shots with a real professional finish at the same time as being really open and friendly. and was happy to put up with all the little changes we wanted! Fantastic way to remember a fantastic day.

You were so discreet for so many of the shots when we received our photos, we had no idea so many moments had been captured and so beautifully! We have just received our wedding photos and we are truly delighted! The quality of the service provided by Matthew Paul Photography is excellent, the photos themselves and the way our album has been designed is not only beautiful but captures the narrative of our wedding day perfectly. It really does take us on the magical journey that was our wedding day. From morning preparations to our first dance, the mixture of reportage and staged photos tells the story, reflects the atmosphere and emotion of the day and even the spontaneous, intimate moments between us and our guests have been captured, for all time. Matthew and Louise are consummate professionals and the quality of their work is amazing. From our first meeting, where we got to see examples of their work, we knew that the imagery, style and quality was what we were looking for and with various packages on offer we never felt under pressure to pick the most expensive package, rather the right one for us and our budget. They took the time to get to know us a couple and to understand what we wanted. Knowing our venue well, they were able to advise us on shots that we hadnt previously considered, resulting in some fantastic images. Apart from the staged photos we were not really conscious of them throughout our day, they seamlessly blended into the background. They interacted well with our guests and their warm personalities soon put everyone at ease, the final photos are natural and relaxed, even the group photos! Getting married in the midst of a pandemic (May 2021) brought with it a number of challenges, but working with Matthew and Louise was not one of them. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
