Staff is absolutely amazing theres an African tall member of staff that works here and I had problems with my heating he literally came to see what was going on very promptly and fast, got the plumber in and I had a replacement heater for the time being while I waited for the plumber. A fantastic place to live and for the price I paid to live here I got more than i personally feel I deserved.

Lived there in first year. Grossly, egregiously overpriced (was over 760 a month for a little room, you could share an apartment with a mate for half that) as all accommodations are, but it's a really beautiful place to live with now a convenience store just across the road that's open until late (10pm on Sundays, too). There is absolutely no ventilation in these buildings so you will swelter. They have recently added locks so you can't open the window more than a crack and you're not allowed to leave *any* doors open because they deem it a fire risk. If you're moving in next year, bring at least one electric fan, otherwise you could easily get heatstroke. When asking at reception, they unfortunately couldn't help as it's an insulation issue more than a heating one. Rooms are a comfortable size, bigger than most at Parade Green, and come with en-suites. They come with a desk and a really lovely chair, and a desk light and a reading light by the bed. Full length mirror and lots of storage space under the beds. The rooms were clean and pristine, with a very nice mattress. There's a small games room with a pool table and a TV, and in the spring/early summer some really gorgeous flowers start to bloom. It's a very picturesque and quaint little student village and is the second cheapest accommodation at about 760 a month. The water that comes out of the tap WILL BURN YOU! It reaches temperatures of over 60C and is not well controlled by the tap (I checked in our utility closed) so do not ever turn the taps up too high unless you're trying to make tea! I've scalded myself so many times! The kitchens are a nice size with different lighting levels. The location is convenient to the Headington campus and it's about 15 mins away on the U5 bus, 30-40 minutes to the city centre on the same. Within good cycling distance of both Cowley and Headington. 10-15 min walk away from an Aldi and a nice meadow on the other side of the motorway. This accommodation IS NOT DISABLED ACCESSIBLE: The main gates are only open between certain hours of the day, and the other gates are very stiff, there are no lifts to upper floors and there are no disabled/automated doors. There is a ramp up to reception which I guess is good but the reception door is not accessible and I think it's pretty ableist that those with mobility issues would have to pay more that 760 per month to have their basic needs looked after. Not particularly fair. If you are mobility-impaired, they might let you have a car parked inside, but if you need to leave between 8pm-7am, you probably won't be able to. As an able-bodied and what some might call "high-functioning" autistic person, it wasn't too overwhelming to live here. Smaller flat sizes (6 people in mine, up to 12 I think in others) really helped. Plenty of bike parking inside. All in all, I'm grateful I could stay here, even if most of our complaints got conveniently lost by the upper managers of security. It was a convenient spot to all of my necessities and is much quieter than some of the bigger accommodations. We also have an Amazon locker since there is no mail room, so I'd highly recommend sending Amazon packages there instead. The reception will not hold onto your packages and if they don't answer the door your things will just be returned to sender. If you choose it please create the most wonderful memories, new residents of flat C2 (I included a picture of our Halloween party ).
