Service was acceptable from the staff but the food we purchased and took home was stale and the brownie especially consisted of inedible pieces. Not happy and will not be visiting again.

The polish lady served me my refreshing drink with much politeness, friendliness and a very warm welcoming attitude. I came here to cheer up as my friend left, her attitude did the job well. So pleased.

Enjoyed the coffee and waffle but not entirely happy with the assistants. It was sad to find out that the large sized coffee had disappeared from the menu as the large latte that came in a big bowl was like signature of Le Pain to me. A good place for an outing in general but they offer a maximum of 2 hours for a table. (It would be nice to be informed of this policy in advance.) A personal account of an individual incident: While browsing through the menu, we saw this nice offer for 'patisserie and hot drink'. However, we did not find it clear as to which patisseries were not included in the deal as it had pancakes and pecan pies, so we asked the assistant to double-check it. We were told that the pancakes were not included so we went for 'a waffle and a latte + a flat white'. When placing the order, we specifically mentioned that we wanted 'a waffle and a latte' for the patisserie and hot drink deal, and she said okay so we assumed that we understood and ordered it correctly. However, when making a payment, it turned out that the waffle was not included in the deal. The assistant who came with the card machine was not the one who took the order from us so we informed her what had happened earlier. Despite our request, however, she was not willing to cross-check it with the assistant who took the order from us earlier. She only briefly went back to the till and came back to us, and repeated herself that the bill could not be altered as the menu says the deal is for cakes, tarts or brownies. While our request was not about what the menu was saying, it almost felt like talking to the wall at that stage and, given that we had a waffle, a latte and a flat white after all, we did not mind paying for them. Nonetheless, we still felt fooled to an extent and not fully explained nor professionally served. Our objection was not about what the menu was stating, rather we were pointing out the inaccurate information provided by the assistant earlier, especially because we explicitly asked about it. Also, we were not impressed by the attitude where they only seemed to be interested in charging us ASAP rather than settling the issue for both parties. So it was not the best experience one could expect at Le Pain.
