        Came by Easter weekend, had a wonderful Sunday Roast (we had beef) everything was spot on. Staff were friendly, service was great, really made our weekend. Highly recommend and would definitely come again.

        Love this pub, came in for a roast dinner to the brave statement on the website of "best roast dinner in Oxford". Needless to say we were incredible underwhelmed potatoes were clearly prepped the night before and soaked in water which resulted in a powdery spud, the packet stuffing ball got a lick of heat before being bowled on to the plate, the gravey had an odd jelly like consistency once it settled on the plate. We had starters... the bruscetta and white bait was lovely but the scotch egg was akine to a petrol station Ginsters accept it cost a whopping 5. I would off expected more on Easter bank holiday Sunday. I hope they were just having a bad day.
