Absolutely disgusted by the treatment received here. Extremely rude, unhelpful and charged for things they shouldnt have. Especially shocked by the behaviour of one of the ladys that attended to me that was brunette with shoulder length hair in her 30s. I am never coming here again and I wouldnt recommend for anyone else to either.

After moving from Specksavers and Boots optician and now at Vision express. For years, I met the best optometrists here at Oxford Circus and also some of the bad ones who are no longer around too. I had my test here on the first week of March 23 and the optometrist that was assigned to me was Umar And Afghani who is very professional and with a very calm character and demeanour. He tested and explained to me very well my eye conditionand even prepared a letter for my GP in which my eye conditionis subject for a regular check up. Then after this I was advised by the person in the reception downstairsto go up and wait there for my new eyeglass and sat there, the problem, any staff who are there to assist to help and explainwhat are the type of glass, the cost, the lenses etc but basedon my experiencedthey are all not well trained and some of them were just move from one branch to another, it looks like it's really hard to find some competent and reliable staff nowadays. anyway the personwho assisted me is Aminah but she never explainnor discuss anything about what are on offer and the cost, i just told her that I have these 2 eyeglasses which I need for single vision (near) as my distance is still ok, she never say anything about the cost and just totalled it on how much I need to pay, she even said I can go back after a week so to collectmy eyeglass which I told her I need it today and don't mind the cost which she did not give me an option or check if the lenses are available.. Any customer service staff should explain and discuss it properly to their customers what they can avail regardless of what they can afford or not.

The most unprofessional service at vision express at Oxford street,LONDON. FIRST They book me in for the WRONG appointment, when I came they said there is no chance for me to do the eye test cause I booked for lens appointment , and sent me back .. I insist they have to see me as it is they fault not mine..so they force me to stay wait another 2 hrs saying every 15 minutes someone will going to see me and do the eye test. After 2 hrs elizabeth arrogant, rude and aggressively informing me thats there is no chance .. everyone left ,they are too busy .. so I need to come back again! why?to waist another 3 hrs probably and left without nothing? The machines are dirty , People at the queue waiting for around 1-2 hrs even if they had appointments booked in advance. Stuff is unprofessional, lazy and arrogant. I was their client for 3 years and I had enough it is not the first time I have issues. First they did the wrong lens to my glasses. very often they dont have lens in stock.. Not welcoming atmosphere , it is hot and smelly inside the building ,not even tab water inside, dirty sticky sits , just disgusting place . If you want to have a good service, and professional people - thats not the place for it . HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED place = changing it to get my lenses and glasses!
