GAME Cowley Inside Sports Direct

Odd game store inside sports direct. It's on the first floor, on the left side. It's not very big they have a few racks of games, accessories, consoles. There are a couple staff who are friendly and helpful. It's worth asking whether a specific game is in stock, even if you don't see it on the shelf as they sometimes have it in their storage drawers. It can be difficult to get to, and leave due to poor access to the retail park, plus their is a tesco here.

What a joke?? just went in to ask about a new Xbox was told they dont have new ones or any with bundles.. was at the till getting my boy a game to see they had them I ask what the price was and then told its to expensive for me I asked if the young lad was ok and asked again he then went on to tell me to get a switch to save money I laughed and said do you have any idea about the Xboxs he just laughed in my face and said no

Very bad service i brought geme I didnt not next I ask for refund they we cant give you money back so dont use this shop they are very cleaver I when first time shop I hope I no going more this shop thanks all counter team

I'm not a complainant in life. But today was one of fantastic elation that turned into total disappointment and poor service. I have always purchased at Game for my consoles having bought XBOX's, PlayStations and Nintendos. I have spent 1000's over my gaming life. I called High Wycombe today having been told I need to call everyday to check stock. They had no stock but i was advised that Game Cowley did. I asked if a unit could be reserved as I wanted to buy for my sons birthday on June 07th. I was told to call back to High Wycombe 15 minutes later so it could be confirmed if possible to reserve. I did call back and was told verbally one was reserved at Cowley in my name. Euphoric, my son and I jumped in our car and travelled 40 minutes one way. When we arrived in the store I advised I was here to collect the console. The staff member told me that had all been sold as the manager said it was first come first served. I couldn't believe it. I had taken measures to make sure we would not waste our journey. I work for a high end service and I would never verbally confirm anything without a 100% guarantee. My son is so upset. I ask what can Game do to go the extra mile so we can purchase an Xbox Series X.
