        A gem worth travelling for because they have some smaller brands in stock that I can otherwise only get online. Its a hour away from me but sometimes I want to see, touch and choose yarns in person. I spent an hour on the floor of the shop deciding what I was getting and during this time heard many other people receive patient, informative and kindly service. I have been twice so far and I will be back.

        I discovered the Oxford Yarn Store about 6 months ago and have visited several times now. Lizzie and James make you feel very welcome and are generous with their help and advice. There's a great range of yarns and patterns too. I've done several workshops there all of which I've enjoyed - yesterday's one was on steeking! The workshops are fab - James is just so knowledgable and a kind, patient teacher. I'll definitely be back for more.
