Magdalen Motors

Having had some work carried out by Magdalen Motors recently it is clear to see why the reviews for this business are predominantly five stars. I was looking for somewhere local to my son for a service on his car that could be done on a Saturday morning. We didn't know the area or the garages well, so went for Magdalen purely based on the reviews. I was very pleased that I did in the end because the service, professionalism, and attitude we received from Saeed could not have been any better. He is obviously a genuine, honest, and hardworking gentleman who clearly knows his stuff. Basically, it became apparent during the service that some work was required on the brakes. Saeed made the point of showing us the problem so we could see for ourselves that it needed to be done urgently as it was not safe to drive in the current condition. My son needed the car for work on the Monday, and the earliest Saeed could realistically get it done by was Tuesday and that meant fitting it in around cars that were already booked in. As it turned out, Saeed got the parts that day and then worked on the Sunday to get the work done by that afternoon. He didn't tell us he was going to do that in case the parts didn't arrive or there turned out to be another problem. My son picked the car up on Sunday and Saeed didn't insist on payment then, instead he said just BACS transfer the money over when you can. He is a top bloke, and we will not be taking the car anywhere else whilst he is still there. Thank you Saeed. David and Sue H. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Saeed was very helpful and friendly, he was able to fix an issue with my braking system for a great price and did a great job. Would highly recommend!

Saeed was brilliant and gave me a great price on the work I had done (more than 30% less than a different garage I went to in Oxford). Final price was under that quoted as Saeed said some of the work the other garage told me needed to be done was unnecessary. My car passed its MOT thanks to the work Saeed did.
