Unite Students - Beech House, Oxford

Its the third time in this weather that the hot water has gone! Wonder who gives them good reviews? Book if you want but your room will not be clean when you arrive with mould in the kitchen and the bath!

Let me preface, that I am a previous Unite Students Customer from another property before, and was extremely satisfied with my experience. Have nothing but poor things to say about my time here. Room was a disaster and not cleaned prior to my arrival. There is no onsite team, everything is directed through their Dorset House property, which is not properly advertised on the website. Says there is a 24/7 security team, yet someone only walks around once every 5hrs. Trash every where, cigarette butts litter the courtyard, which I might add is a non smoking area. Blown away with the emphasis on fire safety, with 7 "fire doors" between entering the building and my room, a restrictor lock on my window, yet I couldn't escape in the event of a fire, and no regard for individuals smoking in the non- smoking area. There are also only 3 washers and 3 dryers for nearly 120 students, 2 of which have not been working. Have sent 5 emails to Unite Students now, with no response. Would speak to someone, however nobody is on site, and the Unite App does not work so can not submit feedback or work requests. Dirty Rooms, Fire Hazards, and incompetent staff. Highly discourage anyone moving to this property. Looking for a refund.
