Loved the chauffered punting! We were a large hen party, so were 3 x boats with "drivers", who were all decent, friendly and entertaining young gents. They put up with our hen party antics and remained polite and helpful throughout. Such a serene way to enjoy the delights of Oxford on a sunny spring day. Would definitely do again.

Oxford punting is a collection of the most snide, pretentious, indifferent children ever. We punted without a chauffeur, got a perfunctory 2 minute lesson on how to do it, and we needed help towards the end, but absolutely no one who worked there offered any. They laughed at us and told us to dig our fingers into the muddy water and crawl our way out. We called for rescue after struggling for 2 hours and they told us they only send someone out if were lost not if its difficult. They only sent help after another passenger saw us struggling and complained. I dont want to promote violence, but if I could pick up the punting stick I would use it as a weapon against these people. Dont give them anymore money x

Beyond this establishment having terrible service, it was truly a horrible experience for me and my friends. We booked a chauffeur however once we arrived at the river they did not have a chauffeur for us and instead intended us to punt by ourselves (mind you none of us had any experience punting before which we clarified to the workers beforehand when we booked). We spent over 2 hours trying to manage going around the river tram where we (in multiple instances) asked the staff for help and absolutely none of them were able to help us we asked around 6 or 7 different staff members who were punting for other groups and we were completely ignored and basically left stranded in the river alone where my friend suffered a traumatic injury from the pole falling in her head, rainfall, and overall a terrible experience. The workers refused to tell us which way to turn to on a couple of the turns along the river which lead us to go the wrong way and getting lost. If you are interested in booking any type of service with this establishment please reconsider
