Mathnasium Maths Learning Centre

Our experience of Mathnasium has been extremely positive. I first brought my child in because she was falling behind in class and was refusing to do homework. I also wanted to preserve my relationship with her as a parent as this had deteriorated as a result of trying (unsuccessfully) to get her to do her homework. Over the course of 3 months, my daughter has amazed us with what she can do, she loves to go in (we especially thank Allan, Duncan and Ping). Her school teacher says she is keeping the pace of the class which is a 100% improvement from 3 months ago! Also she is getting around 80% and 90% in her school assessments, which again is a massive improvement from refusing to do the assessment or not completing it! My daughter gets excited at the number of pages she completes in her workbook and the prizes she earns after reaching certain milestones. She looks forward to go in (barring occasional wobble bc of tiredness) and she now claims maths is easy. We are also super pleased that Mathnasium keeps going during the holidays so they can keep up their practice. Overall we are therefore very pleased with the Mathnasium experience. Thank you

My Son has been attending Mathnasium for a year and a half, he is an able boy, but had some gaps in his math knowledge, which we wanted to close. He always enjoys coming to the centre and benefits from the one-to-one style teaching. His understanding and confidence have grown and he can take on new concepts easier. The centre has a card/token reward system, which is a huge incentive. He works hard, and then loves spinning the wheel and collecting cards. Having saved his cards for just over 6 months, he recently spent them and purchased some new equipment to support his passion for music. The cards definitely serve as an additional incentive and enables us to remind him of the immediate rewards of attending his weekly classes, and putting in the extra effort. The staff are very friendly and he enjoys being supported by them, the centre Manager is always at hand to support both the children and talk with parents about progress. I would heartily recommend this centre. During lockdown the centre began online learning which we benifiited from, they also reopened the centre as soon as it was safe to do so. I really appreciated this.

Extremely thorough maths program for children. My children are very engaged and always look forward to going there. Alan is a real gem and such an inspiring maths teacher.

My daughter didnt like math before. After 3 months in mathanasium she is loving it and she started to practice at home on her own. The teachers are very professional and supportive
