Arrogant and incompetent staff I had a telephone appointment booked with their GP as they would not do a physical appointment, for the afternoon, but no set time. I had two missed calls from them while driving at 15:46, I pulled over as soon as I could and at 15:50 called back. Their call system has a bunch of options and then a queue so takes 5-10 minutes before you speak to the operator. The operator on the first two attempts managed to cut off the call after taking it and then didn't call me back so I had to recall. On the third call the operator admitted they had a new phone system and she hadn't bothered to learn how to use it which is why she kept hanging up on people. She did manage to put me on hold and speak to the GP and the operator told me that the GP had told her that she "didn't feel" like she wanted to call me again because I was driving and had missed the first two calls. Bear in mind this is about twenty minutes after receiving the calls and the GP was happy to deny me medical care because her feelings were hurt that I didn't pickup her calls when she hadn't given a specific time that she was going to call. The arrogance of the GP can only be because she know's she's not going to get fired or lose a client and she get's paid either way. If any other professional behaved in this way they wouldn't last five minutes. Top tip, if you are only going to offer a telephone service, learn how to use your telephone system.
