Bridleway in Wolvercote: Greenford had the contract to repair the Lift-bridge. 1st, they arrived early so cut the chain (welded to the gatepost) to gain access, leaving it too short to relock. I spoken to Peter (1 of the directors) who agreed to replace it, but then forgot & had to be nagged. Despite having my phone number, he never attempted to return my calls. Then they attached the chain incorrectly, which still causes inconvenience now. Lot of stress &hassle, no reciprocal communication. Lots of heavy traffic down the un-tarred bridleway led to significant deterioration - Greenford promised to do some remedial work. They left without doing any repairs - lots of big potholes & the track is in a bad state this winter. In general terms, from my experience, I would describe Greenford Engineering as an inconsiderate, uncommunicative company.
