Co-op Childcare Blackbird Leys

My daughter (2) loves it there and I feel safe leaving her in the care of the Co-operative childcare. Since starting there she has become much more confident and outgoing. Despite only attending 2 days a week, she is always talking about her key worker (Leah) and when I go to pick her up she is always having fun playing/singing/dancing/socialising. The meals are varied and balanced, prepared fresh by the on site chef (my daughter regularly eats seconds but can be a harsh critic so i feel confident their food is up to scratch, even if mine apparently needs improvement from time to time). One of the main things that impresses me is the genuine love and care shown by the staff, along with regular updates on my daughters progress.

Both sons went there for years and was good under old management but not impressed with senior staff. Safeguarding concerns. My son had marks and scratches that were not recorded and he said were caused by a member of staff: Nursery were dismissive and this led me to remove him from the nursery.
