We epically failed at getting out of the Hostage room, we did have a laugh but we actually thought it was too tricky so almost got a tad boring trying to figure everything out, too many clues involved a number lock. I think the rooms could be made more interesting in terms of decor, looks very cheaply thrown together, I've been to much better ones. Can't fault Henry though who was really accommodating, helpful and polite and did give us some extra help! No

One of the workers on the walkie talkies were very slow and wasn't helpful because he didn't understand what we were saying and when the worker came in he smelt like cannabis and the room stunk after

My husband and I have done over 100 different escape rooms in different cities around the world and this one was by far the worst experience in an escape room I have ever had. We did the star breaker room and were very excited for our 5 star challenge. However when we got there we had a very quick brief about safety (standard procedure and glad they did this) but then were given no brief at all on the backstory of the room itself, handed no walkie talkie and the time was started before we were even handed our lights (part of the experience of the room). After about 3 minutes out lights arrived and we were quick to solve the first room. The room itself is disappointing with not many puzzles and very simple decorations. Upon entering the second room we quickly figured out what we had to do but when we entered the codes the keypads werent working. After some time of being sure we were doing it right we were calling for help but with no walkie talkie couldnt get through to anybody. I tried to ring reception on my phone and left a voicemail but nobody answers and nobody came. Finally when our time was out somebody came to tell us time was up and when we asked whether we were doing it right we were but you have to align something very precisely but there is no logical reason for why you would ever align it this way. I did suggest adding something to make it more logical but they were very reluctant to take on feedback. we said we werent handed a walk-in talkie and the man who saw us at the end said we should have. So when we came out we asked the guy who showed us in and he said he put it on the floor in the first room, went to show us and surprise surprise it wasnt there then as he was embarrassed he started getting a little argumentative so we just left. I would definitely not recommend ever visiting this escape room - it ranks bottom on our over 100 rooms experience. Absolutely abysmal.
