Northwood

I had to rent a place to stay from Canada, without any UK phone or bank. Northwood helped me in securing a place. Janice and Mike really did a lot of efforts in welcoming me to Oxford. Janice was extremely nice and friendly, helping me to work through wired transfers and signing contracts. Northwood always replied emails within 24 hours, unlike some other renting agencies here (which I won't name). Since I was new to UK, I needed a proof of residency for almost everything. Even getting the Biometric residency permit needed a proof of address (which doesn't make sense). I went to Janice on the day I arrived, and she wrote and printed me a proof of residency (with Northwood letterhead and signature) within 10 minutes. I cannot express the amount of appreciation to Janice for the help and hospitality she provided me with. She was probably super busy when I went to her office on surprise without appointment, but she still took the time to help me get things settled. Janice has to be one of the nicest person I've ever met, her kindness and selflessness reminds of family in this land far away from home. Side note: maintenance takes forever to reply to you, but that's probably the same for most renting agencies here.

I used Oxford. Northwood as a oversea landlord. I feel so lucky that I found them. They were ever so helpful and efficient. They would provide high standard service for both landlord and tenant professionally . Myself lived in Oxford for 15 years, I tried a few agency as a tenant and a landlord before, I would highly recommended Oxford Northwood. They are smallish family run businesses, and they cares!

If I had a property to let, Id contact Northwood first. If I wanted to rent another property, Id contact Northwood first. We had an incredible experience with Wesley and team. They made the process simple, clear, and fair at every point. They had solid communication, they were prompt, and they were highly professional. The property was perfect for our family and they were incredibly hospitable to us. Would highly recommend especially to those moving from outside of Oxford. They will make your transition to a new place so easy.
