Albany care home

My mother in law was a resident for six months until she recently passed away. We cannot fault the friendly care and attention she received. Staff have been very helpful with the administrative issues after she passed away, which is greatly appreciated. I even discovered that the Albany likes to send a representative to the funeral of their deceased residents, which just goes to show the level of their care. Communication to the family through phone updates was very good, particularly in their prompt handling of a medical issue which required an urgent hospital admission. I have no hesitation in recommending the Albany for those needing such a service.

My mother spent three weeks at the Albany, after coming out of the JR. I can find no fault with the home. The staff are friendly and kind. The food is excellent. Everyone made a great effort to make mum feel comfortable. We especially appreciated Christine's efforts to entertain us all, though the karaoke singing was pretty dreadful.
