I went to Spires and Andreas following meniscal tears and knee arthroscopy procedures in both knees, within a one year period. Consequently, the strength in both legs was negligible and also made worse by overloading in one leg whilst awaiting surgery. Having been very fit prior to the knee issues, I was extremely disheartened about the situation I found myself in. Andreas was a amazing, not only an excellent and professional physio but also extremely motivating and over a 4 month period, set me progressively more advanced exercises which I did regularly. I now have equal strength, more or less, in both legs and am back to full fitness. In fact, I'm probably fitter than ever! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andreas and would go to him again if the need arises.

I was suffering from PLANTAR FASCIITIS after I took up running. After 5 months from the first visit, the problem almost disappeared and I now have the tools to manage the problem myself in a way that allows me to run on a regular basis. Andreas has been very professional, encouraging, and helpful. We identified the main problems related to my way of running and lack of flexibility in my ankles. We gradually built up a program of exercises that I can do at home, aimed at improving flexibility and strengthening lower and upper leg muscles, so that my run would be more balanced without putting too much pressure on the heels. I would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis. The problem can drag along for a long time if not treated, and addressing it might require some time and patience with exercises, but Andreas has been very helpful and positive from the beginning. Very satisfied with the service provided.

Injured my hip adductor, and was seen by Andreas. I decided to go with Andreas after reading some reviews that he specialises in sports injuries. Initially I did the exercises and had a very bad flare up. Which he thought was due to overdoing the exercises. I then did the exercises again but cutting back when I feel like I need a rest. I was out of action from about 4 months whilst doing the physio. Started going back to my normal exercises in March, things have been generally good. Just trying to do maintenance physio. Andreas has been patient and understanding. And if the appointment goes over the time slot a bit he is fine with it as well as it's clear that he places his patient first.

I saw Andreas after suffering from plantar fasciitis that had left me unable to walk for longer than a few minutes. Andreas quickly realised what the problem was and put me on a programme of exercises. I saw a huge improvement in the few months I worked with him, not only am I back to normal but feel much stronger and am now equipped with knowledge to prevent it happening again. I can highly recommend Andreas and the clinic. Kind, professional and effective!

Over two years ago I had a fall that resulted in a very badly sprained and twisted ankle. I visited A and E and was given advice about immediate action but no follow up. My ankle remained painful, bruised and swollen for weeks hampering everything I did. Physio wasnt offered as an option. It gradually recovered but wasnt quite the same. Nine months later as I stepped from a car the same ankle gave way and twisted resulting in similar pain, extensive bruising and swelling. There was obviously weakness now. This time I knew it would be weeks before I could work, drive and function ( I run my own business and am a busy hands on grandmother to two active little boys) so I took action. It was early July and I tried to book NHS physio but there is such a waiting time they couldnt assess me until September. I could not afford to sit around with my foot raised, feeling miserable, taking painkillers and opting out of life again for weeks. I decided it would be worth seeking a private Physiotherapist. I consider it to be one of the very best decisions I have ever made to have the help, support and healing advice from Adelina. She is professional, kind, thorough, skilled and is a very holistic practitioner. My ankle is now fully functional and probably in better shape than before the accident. Adelina tailors your programme to suit you and is there for you every step of the way with practical advice and support. If I could give her ten stars I would! I highly recommend Spires and especially recommend Adelina Florea.
