This is the most awful place ever. Please do not send or allow your loved ones to stay here. The conditions are terrible. The food is the worst, no nutritional value whatsoever. The cook (and I use this word loosely) stopped allowing residents to have biscuits because of sugar content but instead served salty undercooked food. He refused to allow sandwiches (if the inedible food was refused). The menu sings a good song but is nothing like what you would expect to be served. Its all done for show.. Its terrible food and should not be served under any circumstances to the poor residents who are mostly incapable of speaking up. They have bathroom equipment that is unsafe and broken and not user friendly. Their website boasts en-suite facilities. Not so - communal showers and toilets. A big blue industrial roll of paper doubles as toilet roll. The bathroom floor leaks and flows onto the landing creating a slip hazard. Not cleaned up. The fire exits are constantly obstructed with various items such as wheelchairs. Not safe surroundings for the infirm at all. I could go on and on. Ive got photos for all the of above and more. No motivational activities are offered to the residents at all. Ive reported this awful place to the CQC, Oxfordshire Council and the MP responsible for this constituency. I removed my Father from there today. It was like freedom that hed never known. Hes now been moved into the most amazing care home in Faringdon where the staff are superb. The facilities beyond expectations and the food is first class. I do not write this review lightly but I have every intention of trying to get this horrendous place closed down. I pity the staff who do the best they can in the most disgusting of circumstances.

One Elderly Man has told us this Care Home is terrible and has been horrible during the lockdown. The Staff and the Owners have failed all the OLD PEOPLE..AVOID THIS CARE HOME LIKE THE PLAQUE
