I previously owned a property for which CRM were responsible for service charges etc. I have not owned the property for over a year and am regularly receiving invoices for money I don't owe. They know I don't own the property as they prepared relevant documents for the sale but when I've questioned why they keep invoicing me despite them knowing I don't own it, I was told "Well we don't have the new owners name". How ridiculous. I gave them the new owners name but this apparently did not suffice. Talking to staff at this company is like banging your head against a brick wall. I have wasted so much time calling them and repeating myself its driving me mad.

Gave 3 because it took long time to get through but finally got all settled although it took lot of my precious time and because of the comments below really scares me off but have no choice at the moment. Will watch and re comment at a later stage and when I have more experience at their accommodation.

At the start of the year, the letting agent changed to CRM students. When taken over, CRM said that they did not have any contact details, any tenancy agreements or a list of who was living in each apartment. All tenants were contacted almost a month afterwards but some who did not know who to contact for any issues, rent payments, etc were in doubt. There was no decency to have a letter put under each apartment door or letter boxes explaining the situation and/or what to do. The property has had 3 break-ins when living there. One of these break-ins was during CRM running the building. This included someone being able to access the roof. After each time, no preventive measures were taken. After Easter, I came back to the apartment where there was no hot water. It was reported after 2 days to remove doubt that the hot water tank could have been empty. I then waited 2 weeks to then be told I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the issue to be looked. I find it hard to believe that they cannot find a plumber or someone to come from another building CRM runs in Sheffield. The time waited was reduced to 2 and half weeks after a complaint was submitted. Would I have been told to wait 4-5 weeks for this repair during winter? Towards the end of the tenancy, I used the laundry room and gained access to use a washer. On return about an hour later, the fob would not let me into the room and neither did 2 other tenants fobs. At this point, it was an issue with the lock rather than the fobs and needed washing urgently as it had work uniform in. I was told to call the out-of-hours contractors to open the door but would have to pay a fee of at least 35. CRM were not prepared to pay or reimburse me the money despite the issue being out of my control and not my fault. There are more issues too and do not recommend CRM to anyone.
