Called up yesterday to arrange a call out to a broken jetter hose connection, the office arranged an immediate call out with the engineer working in the local area. The service was amazing. Very professional and happy with the charges. Highly recommend.

Extremely unhappy with Pirtek Oxford, booked call out to HGV crane with a pipe split at 15:30 hrs. Was told that fitter would arrive by 5pm in Didcot. Agreed debit card transaction based on using Guildford depot previously (note each depot is separate franchise operation) where service was top notch. Fitter arrived at 5:45 on site 25 minutes and fitted 3/4 meter hose over heel of crane and all good and spoke to fitter on completion and more than happy with his report. Problem lies with office at Oxford, charged debit card almost 296.30 for call out and 3/4 meter hose and 25 mins on site. Never till today when I chased again have they sent VAT invoice detailing charge despite taking money over two week ago. When challenged about 2 hours work at 82.00 per hour they justified by conveying fitter cleared previous job at 5:03 at which point I start paying 'out of hours rates' ???? Seems to me Oxford depot have good fitter(s) but the management at Oxford cant or wont justify their charging structure or at the very least have a policy of conveying potential charges at the outset when contacting them. Labour : 164.00 (2 hours) driver on site 25 minutes Service Call ? : 60.00 As a footnote Pirtek head office in Acton contacted and did respond but as a franchise operation conveyed they have now ability to intervene in the dispute. Use Pirtek by all means just don't use Oxford depot !!! 7th July 2017 : with some involvement from Pirtek HO got notification from Oxford Branch that they were sending a 20% credit through having reviewed circumstances - positive end the end
