Nice village pub, only went in for a quick drink this time. Have also eaten in the attached Indian restaurant previously which is a great place to eat. Locals friendly, beers good, what's not to like?

Sadly the food was not up to par. The Paneer curry had no salt, more sugar I should say. The Chettinad curry was too spicy as should be, but can be milder. After ordering I kept checking the Uber app, but it just kept displaying the order is being prepared, hence was unaware of the whereabouts of the driver. The delivery person was very kind and polite. But the person on the phone who I spoke to, was lacking etiquette and kept blaming me for a unfortunate accident on the Uber app. It seriously ticked me off. I feel I should have been given a chance to explain myself. But it sounded more of blaming rather than listening to your customer. I suggest they have tracking enabled on the Uber delivery so amendments can be made in advance rather than having unpleasant conversations on the phone. I personally will be more cautious when ordering from here. Thank you
