I really enjoy my sessions working out with Kevin at this gym. For one Kevin was extremely welcoming, as were the other staff and clients - from the second I walked in they were so encouraging, warm and friendly. Most importantly though Kevin really knows his stuff and is very motivational. I went in not wanting to feel creaky and weak and after a few weeks I was already noticing a change in my energy levels, strength, mobility and seeing changes in my body, too, and it's got better and better. Results! He's really hot on the health and safety too so I feel very safe :) and there's always good chat. The gym itself is always clean, I always have it all to myself of a morning, and it has all the equipment you might want and need (unless you just want to spend hours on a treadmill). Amazing boxing studio. I love the adrenaline and the endorphins from a good bag session and Kevin and leagha are amazing trainers. Box to the beat class is awesome and the atmosphere is personal and chill. So much better than my days at a larger gym just doing cardio machines and elliptical hours on end. I came to Science Fitness Studio as a beginner with no real experience in personal training or gymwork. Right away Kevin made me feel at ease, talking me through the process and identifying the specific things I needed to work on to achieve my goals. He's patient and communicative, and there's a positive energy to the sessions which helps me stay motivated. It's a great environment to exercise in during COVID-19 times, as it's a studio gym and there's no one else using the equipment while you're training. I have had a few sessions at Science Fitness and am beyond happy. Kevin is a very welcoming trainer - I came across the gym as I live in the area and was curious but a little nervous as I am more used to group studio classes. Kevin spent time talking to me about what I want to get out of my sessions and tailored my workouts so well. He is clearly very knowledgeable and is also a real people person - kept me entertained while doing burpees, which is quite impressive! He pushes hard but in a responsible way - I felt safe and in good hands. And he manages to keep it enjoyable which is so great. I went away from the sessions with more knowledge about my personal fitness goals and with helpful recommendations of the sort of workouts I need to focus on more to achieve them!
