John Radcliffe Hospital

I went to A&E last night, may 1st, I was extremely shocked by the aggressive, hostile and rude behaviour by the blonde youngish female nurse. I was in serious pain, I was very polite and I was answering her questions even though she would barely give me a chance to answer the question, she kept rolling her eyes and talked to me in an unbelievably aggressive way, then she ask me: why are you upset???? I said I am not, just in pain. She then says Yes, you're upset, and I said no no, really, I am just in a very serious pain! I am still in shock by the behaviour of this nurse, never expected to feel bullied and belittled in a hospital and whilst I am there for an emergency and in serious pain. Reading some of the reviews, I feel this may not be an isolated incident with this particular nurse, which brings the question of why they keep someone like that working in the hospital, especially at such a critical department in a customer facing role? Is it simply incompetence? Simply treat people in need of their services this disgusting way with no regard to human dignity? If it is not an isolated incident, as seems likely, why haven't the people in charge of this department dealt with the situation already? Disgusted and shocked don't describe how I feel.

The best nurses and doctors! Very busy and understaffed but couldn't do more to make me feel at ease. Love the JR. Pay rises all round!!!

Busy place, lovely staff, They took care of me when i needed them when I had injured myself, when you need the help support and care the ladies and gentlemen of the john radcliffe hospital 24/7 are always there, Thank you so much
