I ordered flowers & some gifts for my daughters 18th birthday. She's studying away from home & I thought it best to support a local business rather than go with a big company. I'm so glad I did. The flowers where gorgeous as where the chocolates & bottle of fizz. I would highly recommend Daisies flower shop A+

Recently under new ownership, Daisies is no longer the place it was. Under Richard and Sheila, there was a fantastic selection of beautiful flowers with an emphasis on natural blooms including exquisite roses and cottage-style floristry. Service was so friendly and insightful; there was a great selection of flowers to choose from, throughout the year. A real pleasure to visit and arrange flowers for all occasions. In contrast, what a change ... flowers in the shop are almost non-existent, with an emphasis on pre-paid bouquets. Not much else left to choose from, for example, only 3 types of very ordinary roses. On several visits, service has felt unwelcoming and exceedingly slow with people who (oddly) didn't seem to know their flowers and suggested odd combinations. It's a pity that what used to be exceptional is now ordinary.

Delighted with the hand tied bouquet and button hole I ordered by phone for my daughters wedding. They were very helpful and listened to what I wanted . The flowers were delivered and looked beautiful !

I love Daisies and I got to eventually spend a gift voucher I had been given. It is like being in a sweet shop ! I love it that you can choose your stems making up your own selection , which I did. With the rest of the voucher I I visited in a rather lovely/unusually plant . Both my husband and I were taken with the very friendly /helpful assistant It was on Friday 4/11th you know who you are !! I will be back

We ordered flowers from Daisies for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. The good: the flowers were lovely, ready on time (and set up at the venue very well by Daisies) and in the right amounts - we used them for the day and had an amazing wedding. The leafy-hoops that decorated our marquee were particularly beautiful. However, the bad: we had a consultation at Daisies shop last year before choosing them as a supplier, and later shared a Pinterest board, specifying flower-types and colour scheme (specifically a sage/burnt orange scheme, and no carnations). The flowers we received (which were beautiful) were a range of colours and types, including purple, maroon, coral and carnations, which did not fit the scheme (with no heads up that what we ordered was not available beforehand). As I said, we used the flowers and had a lovely day, so we did not raise this as an issue with Daisies on the day, but we probably would not recommend them to a future bride and groom as they didnt quite hit the brief!
