I was referred to Mary for assessment. She was amazing, she put me (a very nervous patient) at complete ease. She has since completed root canal treatment and x-rays indicate that the tooth and surrounding area are healing well. Considering this tooth was originally crowned elsewhere in 2014 and has been an issue ever since, I am delighted. I have no hesitation in recommending Mary without reservation. I wish she did regular dental work as I know where I would be going. I should add that the reception staff are very helpful and tried on several occasions to get me seen sooner.

UPDATE: Moreton Dental refunded me the money I spent in full and apologised. However I cannot get back the weeks of pain I suffered. In the meantime I've seen another dentist who diagnosed me with acute TMD (temporomandibular dysfunction). It has been a month since another dentist fixed my bite and instructed me to only eat soft foods, etc. Now I am no longer suffering from serve migraines or back pain, none of which I had ever suffered from before this whole crown debacle. But my jaw is still not fully recovered and I still am eating only soft foods to avoid anymore serious interventions as I am still not fully recovered. I will keep this review up because I feel like women being treated as "hysterical" when we continue to say we have pain is something that needs to stop with doctors and dentists. I was polite for six weeks, asking for help from three different dentists at Moreton Road and I was put off as a woman who doesn't know her own body or her own pain and told that I was just "stressed" out. Original Post: I have spent over 3,000 with Moreton Dental for pain and suffering over the last 6 weeks. I have also lost money from missed work because I have had to take sick days due to toothache, jaw ache, back pain and migraines, and now have more damage to my teeth than before I became a patient at Moreton Road. If you value your health, time, and money, dont be as foolish as I was; avoid this dentistry. These other 'good reviews' must be fake or people who have not had any serious dental work done at Moreton Road. My experience is far from what these people have reported. I had some crowns put on. The dentist even said at the time, Oh, your bite is off now, right after fitting the crowns, but my appointment was over, so I was rushed out the door with the words, I know your bite is not right, but, come back next week, and we will fix it. (It was like the Tesco checkout). And let me tell you, Google reviewers, I was nave to believe this dentist cared about fixing the mistakes with the crowns. I returned the next week and suddenly the dentist seemed to forget what had been said to me the week prior. The following five weeks, I kept politely reaching out, reporting worse symptoms, migraines, neck pain, and back pain. I asked from the very beginning, for the crowns to be removed as they hurt so badly that I was popping ibuprofen like candy (and I have had crowns before so I knew this was not right). I continued asking for help, and I did not receive it. I was told 'crowns can hurt badly for up to three months' and given other excuses. Over these weeks, my other teeth started to get chipped from the bad bite, which the dentist acknowledged were new chips since I had the crowns but refused to admit it had anything to do with the crowns. Those newly chipped teeth also began to become sensitive and hurt. Again the dentist dismissed my complaints. On my sixth attempt to try and get these crowns fixed, the dentist implied I had mental health issues. Thankfully after being told my mental health must be the reason for my crowns hurting I woke up to what was really going on and I finally realized that Moreton Dental is incompetent. The only thing I am guilty of is being foolish and naive enough to keep going back to Moreton Road over the last six weeks, thinking that they would help me. As for Moreton Dental, I want to tell you publicly, I was polite, I gave you time, I reiterated, Mistakes happen, but this needs to be dealt with as I am in a lot of pain, time and time again and you dismissed my pain while you took my time and money with smiles all the while feeding me false promises and excuses. It would be best if you had told me that you do not have the skill to fix the badly fit crowns immediately instead of wasting my time, money, and health. You deserve every bit of this honest review, and I hope it protects other people from suffering what you have made me suffer unnecessarily.
